Tas Gas Networks is undertaking a planned inspection of the Hobart gas pipeline using specialist pipeline inspection technology.
The work forms part of our ongoing asset management program and is designed to help ensure the continued safe and reliable operation of Tasmania's natural gas network.
Customers are not expected to experience any interruption to supply.
Residents near pipeline facilities may notice additional activity while the works are undertaken.
The inspection program is expected to be completed during July.
