COVID-19

Updated 9/04/2020

Tas Gas Networks would like to assure all our customers and the general public that we are continuously monitoring the status of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and any potential impacts on our customers and operations.

Our focus is to maintain a safe and reliable energy supply for the community and ensure our critical operations remain fully operational. Our ongoing priority is the health and safety of our personnel, contractors, customers and the general public during this developing situation. We are suspending daily charges for commercial customers until 30 September. We will also be suspending fees for disconnections, reconnections and final meter reads for commercial customers until 30 September to give full flexibility to suit individual circumstances.

All services, including meter reading and new installations, remain in place.

If you are in isolation or quarantine and you have a problem with your gas supply, such as a leak or other emergency we will still attend your premises and respond to your problem. Please call our emergency line on 1802 111, notify the operator of your status and we will take additional precautions to ensure you and our staff are protected.
